Kebee & Soul Company

Really feelin the vibe of this cypher-style song and they all goin IN on this one!  It's from boys from Soul Company, an underground Korean hip hop label.  The song is called The Gift and it's from the The Amazing Mixtape that was released last May.

The first guy on the mic is Kebee, one of the founders of the label.  He's pretty sick.

MC Jin - 回香靖 (Homecoming) album

MC Jin's new full-length Cantonese album entitled 回香靖 (Homecoming) was released today.  One of better songs on the album is 立立乱 (Chaos).  In this song MC Jin does a conscious rap song describing Hong Kong's society.  That beat is hella sick and it was produced by Doughboy from 85up2.

Kevin Linney - Keep Movin

Kevin Linney hit me up and asked me to check out his song, Keep Movin, which salutes the art of emceeing and freestyling.  The song was inspired by Common's I Used To Love H.E.R..  It's got a Neo-soul kind of beat, a nice hook, and a great message.  Really feelin this one because you can tell that Kevin's a big fan of hip hop music (look at his hip hop album collection for goodness sake!).

Spot & Ess - Smile Through The Madness

Here's a new track from Spot & Ess (formerly known as D-City) called Smile Through The Maddness.  The beat, produced by Ess, makes me feel like doing evil shit....lol.

Thaikoon - YUNG RUK TUR

Here's easy-listening song dedicated to the ladies entitled ยังรักเธอ (I Still Love You) from Thaikoon's THAIKOON MIXTAPE VOL. 2 - STRAIGHT OUTTA BANGKOK: RATED X released in January 2011.  The song is a bit cheesy but it's likeable.

Thaikoon is a Thai-American hip hop / R&B group based in Los Angeles, California.  They formed in 2007 to bring LA-styled hip hop to Thailand.  Something like how Uptown was to Korea when they first started, but this is with a Thai-American flavour.

Thai - Alone Tonight

454 Life Entertainment dug out this song, Alone Tonight, from the vaults.  This is one of the first songs Thai did after signing with the label.  Thai did his thing in the song, no doubt.  The guy who sings the hook sounds like he's from the 80's. Haha.

This song is available in an MP3 download.  More exclusive tracks from Thai will be released in anticipation for his new album.
