 Just released. Emmalyn Estrada featuring Spot & Ess in their Motown-inspired track entitled My My My. Another solid track from Spot & Ess. These boys are a real good look for Vancouver hip hop.  The Thai election results are in! Thailand's new and first ever female prime minister is Yingluck Shinawatra, the sister of former ousted prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra. She is 44 years old and looks pretty good for her age. She kinda has that Avon lady / female executive look going for her (Hellooooooooooo nurse!). Currently, Thailand is divided between the yellow shirts and red shirts. The only thing that is keeping the country together is probably the King of Thailand.  Montreal In The Fall is Masia One's latest music video single off her Pulau album. The music video looks like a commercial for women's perfume. It kinda has that feel to it.  In celebration of her 50th single anniversary, Japanese mega pop star Ayumi Hamasaki decided to pose topless for this coming November's edition of ViVi Magazine. This brings to mind that I'm beginning to see more and more Mainland Chinese from all four corners of China in Vancouver nowadays, especially in the university I attend. Some of the girls are pretty darn cute! It's quite fun to sometimes guess in my head which region in China do they come from as the Han Chinese aren't exactly a homogeneous race. Yep. That's Jay Chou in the pictures above with two scantily-clad flight attendants. These pictures were leaked to help promote his upcoming music video 嘻哈空姐 (Hip Hop Flight Attendants). It almost looks as if Jay is testing the waters to see if Chinese pop can be more adult-oriented.
 23 year-old Asian-American porn star Evelyn Lin, a self-proclaimed lover of animals, auctioned off a dinner date with her on eBay last month to help out one of her favourite charities: the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. The auction, which ended on July 19th at 8:00pm PDT managed to rack up 4055 dollars! Wow! I bet the person who paid that full amount was hoping for abalone on the menu...ha ha! A huge 70% of the proceeds went to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Well hey, I got to give kudos to Evelyn Lin for raising a ton of money for the charity with so little effort and in such a short while. This is actually the second time Evelyn did the dinner date auction. The first time she auctioned a dinner date with her, the auction racked up $1,650! And if you're thinking what everyone's thinking, $4055?! Who in the right mind has that kind of money to blow just on dinner? What does it come with? Expensive wine? Exotic dessert? Well.... there were A LOT of stipulations that she wrote in her eBay auction such as:

I think what draws guys to Evelyn Lin is that she looks just like the typical shy Asian girl-next-door who you would never have imagined being a closet sex freak. Yeah, that's probably every red-blooded guy's fantasy isn't it? Also another factor is that she's 100% Chinese. There are a lot of Asian girls doing porn, but it oddly enough, its quite rare for Chinese girls to do porn, let alone 100% Chinese girls. Evelyn Lin is originally from Hunan, China (the same province Chairman Mao is from!) and she moved to southern California when she was 4 years old. But that's the name of this new 4 member Korean female pop group that's trying to make it big. They have leaked a video of a dance rehearsal of their new hit-single Push Push, which I think is on the Korean music charts now. It sounds reminiscent from the likes of Cyndi Lauper with a touch of bubblegum pop to it. I'm not so much a fan of K-pop music myself, but these girls are my eye candy for the moment.  Dude, you got issues... Oh. And I would also like to draw your attention to the guy wearing the green shirt sitting on the wooden bleachers. This guy was sitting in a really awkward prayerful position while watching the entire dance rehearsal. What really disappointed me was that he never did pounce on any of the girls within reach. He just kept "praying" or whatever it is he's doing. Don't just sit there, you fool! Your prayers have ALREADY been answered.
