DTM, who reps both Hong Kong and the Greater Toronto Area, has released his first album: The Universal Man just last Sunday.  The album is a selection of his recorded songs over the past 5 years and is meant to be a throwback to raw 90s rap.  The album can be downloaded for free directly from his website DTMUniversal.com.

Press Release:

DTM began writing Hip-Hop lyrics in 2005 and started recording and performing tracks ever since. He felt modern Hip-Hop music lacked meaning both globally and locally and therefore went on a journey to attempt to produce legitimate Hip-Hop music by himself. He did this with not much other than a regular headset microphone, ripped looped beats, and his own imagination.

His style comes from the golden era of Hip-Hop, much like the style of Scarface and Ice Cube, reality rap with an edgy attitude. Due to his extremely busy schedule he has finally managed to finish his first album 5 years later in 2010, compiling the first 10 of his most coherent tracks. With the help of better studio equipment and producer Ace Keyz (Alex Phung), he releases The Universal Man with confidence.

He will be back sooner rather than later, as he has already started production on his next album titled "The Last Emperor". He is looking for local artists to collaborate with to expand his musical range.

It does have a smooth flow the way he spits. Track 2 is very good. However at times when he strains the word "bitch" it sounds really high.
