Now six years later the host of the Lost In The Struggle returned to Jane and Finch to give us The Next Chapter. What have they been up to these past six years?
Burnz, who was Chuckie's partner in crime in the documentary but then ended up splitting ways near the end because he was expecting a child, has a six year old son and is now expecting a second child on the way. As of September, he is also facing a first-degree murder charge. That is very serious shit!
Freshy, the guy who was flipping counterfeit bills, the guy who said on national TV that he had aspirations of doing credit card fraud, the guy got beat up pretty bad in the documentary -- six years later, he graduated from high school as the valedictorian and graduated from UofT. He now studies business part-time and works as a "party organizer". Good for him! He's still a hustler, but he definitely cleaned up his hustle (I think).
Chuckie Akenz was the only guy out of the original three who they actually interviewed. He basically said that he and Burnz have parted ways and have nothing to do with each other. Chuckie seems very different in this interview. It's like he's a totally different person and for the better. He seems to have a better head on his shoulders too. After all at the time of the interview, Chuckie was working in security. It was also revealed that he has aspirations to work in LAW ENFORCEMENT. Wow. Talk about change of mindset!! And there was some footage of Chuckie working on a new track. I can't wait to hear it. I hope it's good!
