Maybe some of you readers thought I was just making a joke or that I was making some pretty bold claims without any evidence to back it up. Okay. Fair enough.
Nowadays there are many Asian females stars on Youtube such as Michelle Pham and Bubzbeauty who are very popular because of their make skincare and makeup tutorials.
And it's good look for Asian girls because what might look good for a black or Hispanic girl might not work exactly for an Asian girl's face and it takes an Asian girl to know what looks good for Asian girls anyways.
So that's good for Asian girls. What do Asian males have? Asian male hairstyle tutorials.
If you clicked on the link above, you will see that there are many Asian males showing other Asian males (who else would watch them? lol) how to do the latest Korean male or Japanese male hairstyles. And yes, some of them do their hair tutorials to Kpop boyband music.
I don't really need to point out which hair tutorial video plays plays Kpop boyband music because the point of this blog post isn't to call out any particular individual. But it's not too hard to find a video that plays Kpop boyband music in the first and second pages of the search results. There is your proof that there are Asian males who like to listen to Kpop boybands too!!!!!!!!!
Case closed! Holy fuck. Okay. Moving on now.
So I watched some of these hair tutorials (for research purposes!) and man, it was quite painful to watch. Quite a few of them use FLAT IRONS. What in the fuck? Flat irons?! I thought only girls use them. Well now we all know that some Asian males love to use flat irons too!
I don't know who exactly reads my blogs but I'm sure quite a chunk of the readership are Asian males. Maybe some of the also listen to Kpop music and watch Korean dramas. I am really curious if they happen to come across these Asian male hairstyle tutorials, would they want to style their hair as followed in the tutorials so they can look like Kpop boyband members?
If you ask me, I think these Asian male hair tutorials think are fucking gay. You can compare it to white guys taking their hairstyle cues from N-Sync of the Backstreet Boys. I'm not supportive of it, but then again I'm not a Kpop-washed person. As a matter of fact a lot of the Asian guys that were doing the hair tutorials are scrawny as fuck and look emo. Eat some fucking protein or something. Shit.
